Oh how love our Mama Dot/ She truly was Jesus with skin on and never missed an opportunity to share Jesus and let everyone know they were loved ♥️She was energized Bunny/Our Ray of Sunshine. She always said we are family and we sure loved her as our family. What a legacy she has left for us all to follow. Praying for our family during this time. We are always here for you. She will always hold a special place in our and our family. Love Pastors Bruce and Sandra Whitehill ♥️♥️
Miss Dorothy was a shinning light for the world! She was the perfect example of "let them see Jesus through me". I met her over 20 years ago when I worked at the bank and always looked forward to seeing her every week. She warmed my soul as she did everyone's she encountered. I am certain she was welcomed into heaven with a "well done my good and faithful servant!" She is wearing her well deserved crown but will be so missed on this earth. I regret never telling her what an impact she had on me. I have thought so many times how I want to be more like her. Thank you Miss Dorothy for letting your light shine and for being a remarkable example of loving one another!
Oh my gosh your physical presence will be missed! I know that He let you know a job well done and how many lives that you touched. You showed us how to walk it out. Thank you for your unconditional love, encouragement, and support. I know that being drug around to every church near and far with you and Grandma will pay off one day!
Grandma had a smile that would light up a whole room. She always wanted to make sure everyone was fed and happy. I loved her humming and her singing. I looked forward to hearing her sing Happy Birthday to me every year. She gave the best warm hugs, which is what I will miss the most. She always kept a positive and loving vibration that we all need. We all miss you.❤️ Never forgotten. May you rest in peace grandma. Love always, Jasmine.
Oh Sister Heard you definitely lived your walk. A true servant of GOD. You brought so much Joy wherever you went. I am truly Blessed to be in the number to have known such a sweet soul. The saints in Heaven are rejoicing because you are Victorious. You are indeed in the number.
We didn't know Mrs. Dorothy Heard very long, just about a year I believe, through us visiting the church. Oh the impact she made on me right from the beginning! She was the very 1st one to love on us when we walked through the doors, and I could see the Holy Spirit all over her! Through the compassion in her eyes, to the warmth you felt when she embraced you with that special hug! Seeing her answer His calling in EVERY service, without hesitation, and encouraging all others to do the same, was something special! The advice she gave, absolutely everything she did was centered around our Lord. What a legacy! How proud our Lord must be to have welcomed such a good and faithful servant Home. We will miss you so much Mama Dot. Thank you for all your hard work down here, now celebrate on those streets of Gold, you absolutely deserve that. Our hearts break without you here. Our prayers are with your precious family. We love you more than we ever had the chance to show you! Tommy and Lisa Ritchie
Mama Dot you treated me as if you birth me. I remember when you laid your hands on me and I was filled with the Holy Spirit. You told me now you have a part of me, meaning your spirit of prayer & praise was transferred to me for that I thank you! You will forever be know for your love and you fulfilled the whole commandment by showing love every where you went. You will forever be in Kim and I heart until we see you again Theresa and Kim Holley
My sweetest Dear Grandma, So many moments and memories so many things grandma was known for. She made sure to send her love through packages to us grandkids filled with love. Her excitement on every phone call. Her love for Jesus that vibrated through her and anyone who was around her. She most certainly set a wonderful example of what being on fire for Christ look like. Her mannerisms passed down to my dad (Tim Parker) so much of him comes from her the stories he's shared passed down from her I'll never forget. Grandma thank you for anointing my feet when I was little. I really had no idea how much I was going to need that in my life. You are so so so special to me and my heart loves you forever. I just want yo hug you one more time but I'll see you again .Jesus I thank you for her life. Till we meet again.
We were saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing. She held a special place in the hearts of the Byrd family. May God's grace and comfort be with the Heard family during this time. Charles and Emma Byrd
