Peggy was my friend from the time we moved to Huguley. I have wonderful memories with Peggy Betty and her mother and dad. Sitting on her porch or Betty's porch. Just talking being together as family and friends. Peggy prayed for us so much. You knew Peggy loved you. May God Bless Betty and comfort her.
Such wonderful memories of Peggy and her family while my parents were in ministry at Huguley Nazarene (and even beyond). Many fun Sunday afternoons growing up chasing cows or goats at the Phillip's Homeplace. Always great food. Always felt loved. She was a ss teacher of mine growing up in church and I won't ever forget being excited to learn to read at 4 5 6 years and how she encouraged me and helped me learn to read from my 1st Bible. Special times and a special family. Peggy will be missed. Love and Prayers. Dwight Hill.
(Please note our flowers are from me, my mother Mabelene and my sister Shelia and Husband Doug and family).
I have a lot of good memories with Ms. Peggy. She was my Sunday school teacher when I was a child. She taught me how to sew and helped give me my first perm. She made the best vegetable soup and cornbread. I loved when we would visit and she had it made. We spent many times at her house on that old porch and I remember it fondly. She was such a special lady and you knew she was always praying for you. She was such a light in the community and her church, and I know she will be dearly missed by many. I am so sorry for your loss Mrs. Betty and family.
Your sincere love and kindness to everyone will never be forgotten. I will always remember you and your heart for Jesus Ms Peggy. Rest well sweet lady.
