Obituary For Russell C. Hutchins

We respectfully announce the passing of Mr. Russell C. Hutchins, age 68, of Keith Road in Greenville, Georgia on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Branch Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery located at on Woodard Road in Greenville, Georgia. Rev. Dr. H.L. Jones, Pastor and Rev. Charlie Glanton, Eulogist.

Public viewing will be Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 7:00 PM.

Due to COVID-19 concerns everyone in attendance at the viewing and the Graveside must wear a mask and social distancing is encouraged.

Russell the oldest of six children was a very unique person that brought Joy and Laughter to his family Russell not only taught us, but he showed us the fruitage of the spirit Galatians 5 22

Russell taught us about LOVE. “Love is patient, love is kind, love never fails.”

He taught us about JOY that no matter what challenges life throws at you, you can still have joy.

He taught us how to be PEACEFUL through a voice that didn’t use words “just listen.”

He taught us PATIENCE by keeping a good attitude “while waiting.”

He taught us that KINDNESS cost nothing but means everything.

He taught us that FAITH is trusting God, even when you don’t understand his plans or purpose. Russell

definitely was the epitome of LOVE

On January 31 2022 Russell passed away peacefully at West Georgia Medical Center LaGrange, Georgia (Troup County) with his family by his bedside

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Tip Leroy Hutchins and Allie Mae Woodruff Hutchins maternal grandparents Henry Gates and Ida Russell Gates a niece Shaqavious S Robertson.

He leaves to cherish his memories three brothers Gates Hutchins, Willie ( Hutchins, David ( Hutchins, Sr two sisters Martha Hutchins Keith and Patricia H ..( Woodyard, Sr one uncle Joe Nathan Hutchins two aunts Eloise Mclaughlin and Cora Glenn all of Atlanta, GA host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and cousins one special great great niece “ Miss Akiya Terry a special God sister Elizabeth Ringer
