On that beautiful day of May 6, 1986, a baby boy (Man) along with his twin sister (Lady) was born to Mr. Bobby and Joyce Colton. Man would become baby boy and Lady would become baby girl – only girl. He departed this life on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Man grew up in Moreland, Georgia and later relocated to Fayetteville Georgia. He was educated in the Fayette County School System graduating from Sandy Creek High School. Early in life, he joined Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He joined the workforce and started a career with Cargill. Shortly after joining the workforce, he was stricken with a life changing event which limited his mobility tremendously. Man enjoyed spending time with family and friends - especially his four heartbeats: Ziyah, Joshua, Jala and Jada Colton. He had a passion for animals (dogs) and working on cars. Even with his restrictions and limitations and at times frustrated, he continued to live life to the fullest until his health started to decline.
Man was preceded in death by his grandmother, Catherine Colton and his grandfather, Nathaniel Cleveland.
Man leaves to cherish his precious memories his children, Ziyah, Joshua, Jala and Jada Colton; loving parents, Bobby and Joyce Colton; grandmother, Sophia Cleveland; siblings, Rodrigos (Andrea), Andregos, Sandregos and Jocelean (Lady); God-mother, Latonya Fuller(; six nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives, cousins and friends.
Arrangements entrusted to Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.
