If you knew my mother ...

She Loved both her boys- More than anything in the world and it was nothing she wouldn't do for us.

She Loved my father- "Freddie, Fredo, where are you? Let's g-o-o!" Always on the move and going everywhere together.

She Loved her grandchildren- Checking in and making sure they had everything they needed. How is Lauryn and Jonathan?

She Loved my wife Pam- Picking out the latest clothes with matching jewelry, and of course great smelling perfume!

She Loved extended family and friends coming over- Making sure the house was ready to welcome everyone so they could be comfortable and have a good time

She Loved being a business ed teacher with the DECA program in high school- Helping teach students how to be a professional and do their best work on a job

She Loved new houses and decorating- We would always take family rides to see houses and visit new neighborhoods. In her spare time, she was a master at decorating inside and outside of the house- especially for the holidays!

She Loved to cook some great food- "Now what you do is add some salt and pepper, chop up some onions, and add a half cup of water!"

She Loved to check out the latest movies- This was a big tradition for us at "Thanksgiving" and "Christmas." We had to go!!

She Loved to dress and pick out the clothes for herself and for others too- She wanted you to try it on right away to make sure it fit. "Now that's sharp!"

She Loved to do the latest dance- "Okay... to the left....to the right... now back.."

She Loved to go for a ride through the city- Checking out the sights and sounds and stopping by Varsity Hotdogs in Atlanta for a bite to eat!

She Loved to help others whenever they needed something- She would often use her last dime to help someone else

If you knew my mother, she was all of these things and so much much more!

Mom, we miss you and love you so much, and we will never forget everything you did for us!

Frederick Williams

How many ways can I say I love you, all are uncountable. For 68 years you have given me joy, tears, and laughter. You have been there through good times and not so good. I slept between you and Aunt Mary, I walked to the bus stop between you and Aunt Mary, and I ran races around our house in Pavo with you and Aunt Mary. You taught me how to draw my first picture, therefore, inspiring me to be the artist I am today. As grew into the woman I am today, you were always there, you, Aunt Mary, and Uncle Shammy (us against the world), it was so good to be in your shadow. Even in these last two years you and I always shared every Thursday together (thanking God for technology via Zoom). Aunt Milk, your first words on what would be our last Thursday, "There goes my baby, there's Ann! and your last parting words after that wonderful, powerful ending prayer (LORD God could you pray)! were "love you baby, my baby girl, love you, Ann." Auntie, thank you for all the memories you have blessed me to carry in my heart, for in my heart you will always stay. You will always be my Ebony Magazine, Cover Girl! My Angel, you have gained your wings! Your baby girl Ann will love you always. Your niece Barbara Ann (Swain) Hayes

My sincerest prayers and peace to the Williams family. There are no words to express my pain in the loss of my Dear Sister-Friend Mildred! God bought us together as kindred spirits 45 years ago as educators at Rich Twp.until our retirements. We were inseparable, we even finished each others sentences. When I was Happy you were there;and when I was sad or hurting you were there! I'm really going to miss you my friend. We raised our children together-birthday parties other family events. We even taught and mentored our students together, extra curricular activities and many enriching field trips in and around Chicago. You were the epitome of God's grace and blessings for others, with your cheerful giving and sweet spirit. God saw you suffering and He knew it was TIME to call you home. He called your name and you took His hand. Now,Rest in the Joy of Our Lord my Dear Mildred! Loving you forever, your Dear (Sister) Brenda

Mrs. Williams, I didn't have the pleasure of knowing you personally, but I see by your photo how beautiful of a lady you were, and by the words I've read, that beauty was also inside deeply. You touched people in an amazing way. I know your son Timothy and could tell that he came from a great family, with great raising and upbringing. He is a gentleman, very intelligent, kind, and spoke often and lovingly of you. You have done an amazing job and left a tremendous legacy. May God forever keep you close in your transitioning and bless your family with whatever their needs, desires, and wants may be. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family, Ms. Carmen Moore
