If you Knew Pops ...
He loved our mother so much... You see, they were college sweethearts and blessed to be together for 52 years.
If you knew Pops ...
He loved his two boys... Teaching us, molding us, guiding us, getting on us to be the best we could be, even when we didn't always want to listen.
If you knew Pops ...
He was a family man... He loved spending time together and especially couldn't wait to see his grandkids, Lauryn and Jonathan every chance he got.
If you knew Pops ...
He enjoyed working.. After retiring from his career, he found ways to stay busy by working different jobs. He was not going to just sit around, so he had to stay on the move.
If you knew Pops ...
It seemed like he could fix anything... He could take things apart and put them back together in no time. He would always tell me to learn how to do things yourself, so it would save me money. Definitely, words to live by!
If you knew Pops ...
He was a big sports fan... Always ready to tune into a football game, sit back and relax, have a tall glass of water, and grab a bite to eat. He would say, "Let's get down and dirty!"
If you knew Pops ...
He was a great cook.. He made a mean breakfast and he could throw down with the best of them on the grill whipping up burgers, hot dogs, and sausages. Hmm... I could go for that now!
If you knew Pops ...
He was a proud member of St. Peter... He enjoyed being active in church serving as a deacon and helping out in any way he could.
And if you knew Pops ...
For fun... He liked to cut grass on his super-fast Zero Turn lawn mower, play golf, bowl, sing a little bit, and recently play the guitar. 🎸
Pops we love you!
May you rest now beside your Honey Bun, your Almond Joy, your Queen- Mom!
I'll always remember Mr. Williams. He left such a heartwarming legacy with his family. I can recall Mr & Mrs Williams driving down from Georgia to Florida to see Mike and I without hesitation. Anytime I spoke with Mrs Williams, I'd hear him in the background chiming in asking how I was doing. I'll always cherish the kindness and care show to my family all of my life. Sending love and prayers to all of the Williams family. Love always, Letitia Jarrett-Wortham
It is our Prayer that the Family will be comforted at this time with Strength from above. We share the status of being fellow ASU Alumni, same class(1971). Peace. Willie and Gloria Brown
Sincere condolences go out to Mr. Fred Williams and Family. May the Lord grant the family peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Rest in peace Fred! Shelby Hall family and cousins.
I only met Mr. Williams a handful of times but he taught me a lesson of consideration I remember to this day. One day we had a conversation about cars and I told him how loved the big cars of old. I still like big cars to this day. He told me "those cars are outside of your demographic". Up to that point I never considered the world outside my personal space. To this day, I always consider how what I say and do, and what others say and do effect and are affected by our surroundings.
Uncle Fred you will truly be missed, your contagious smile And sense of family unity will be missed. We will remember the times When the family gathered together, for family reunions & weddings. In our youth, you and aunty Milk were our idols growing up as young adults; we looked to you and Aunty for inspiration. Uncle Fred, you and Aunty Milk will truly be missed! Your Loving Niece, Gloria Artis & Family
