Minister Terry Render, son of the late Willie D. and Clote (Senior) Render, was born in Columbus, GA on January 6, 1959. Minister Render was called home in Columbus, Ga on March 27, 2022.
Terry attended Hardaway High School, and later earned his GED. He joined the United States Army in 1978 as a Hawk Fire Repairman. He was medically discharged from the Army with honors in 1980 as an E-2. He graduated from Columbus Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Technology. He worked at Textron Industries as a digitizer, and Pratt & Whitney and Tom’s/Lance Foods as a machine operator. He later co-owned Claim-It Medical Billing services with his wife, Sandra Render.
He was a loving and devoted husband of 40 years to Sandra Render. They were two peas in a pod—inseparable. They built a beautiful life together raising three wonderful children—Carlos Pollard, David Pollard, and Kimberli Render. He was also a proud grandfather of two – Sydney A. Pollard (Carlos) and Joy D. Pollard (David). His family was the light of his life.
Minister Render first gave his life to Christ at Central Baptist Church. He was a disciple bringing much of his family to the church. He first became a deacon under the leadership of Pastor Farnsworth Coleman at Central Baptist Church. He later became a founding-member of New Birth Outreach Church, where he answered the call to ministry. He was a man after God’s own heart. He had a heart for ministry and intercession prayer and recently completed certification for Chaplaincy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie D. Render, mother, Clote Render and son, David C. Pollard. Brothers Willie Render Jr., Robert L. Render, Johnny F. Render (Anita), Jesse J. Render (Gail). Sisters, Mattie Mae Hicks, Annie Pearl Render, and Angela D. Render and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving-and-devoted wife Sandra (Pollard) Render, son Carlos Pollard (Unique), daughter Kimberli Render, and daughter-in-law, Adrienne L. Pollard (David); Granddaughters, Sydney Pollard and Joy Pollard; mother-in-law Wyvonnia Pollard; two brothers Curtis Render and Dexter C. Render. Four sisters Betty J. Cartwright, Mary Seldon, Ruby Hall, and Tracy D. Royal (Willie). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Send flowers to the service of Terry Render
Hello, I am looking for my long-lost friend, Terry Render. I was a friend of his in the US Army and we trained on the Hawk Radar system. I am thinking of him now and remembering some of the wonderful escapades and adventures we had during 1978-79. He was a wonderful man and I am sorry that I did not find him a year ago or more. I send love and condolences to his family.
