Stephen Alaska Muhammad was born on January 24, 1962, to the late Reinard and Jessie Booth. He departed this life on Sunday, December 08, 2024 at Piedmont Hospital. He was baptized at an early age and was a devoted servant. He attended Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, AL. He served in the U.S. Army as a Station Technical Controller and served in Korea. He was a Master of Chess, and Stephen also worked for American Airlines for several years in Los Angeles, Ca. and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Stephen leaves to cherish his memories: one sister: Cheryle (Harold) Stewart, Plaquemine, LA; four brothers, Michael Booth of Columbus, GA. Ronald Booth, Sr (Gwen), Atlanta, GA, Robert (Genevieve), Booth, Austin, TX, Garth Booth, Palo Alto, CA. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents: Reinard and Jessie Booth, one brother, Timothy Booth, one nephew, Dwayne Booth. Maternal and paternal grandparents, and other relatives.
The Memorial Service for Mr. Muhammed will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Progressive.
