SFC (Ret) Ronald J. Myers was born on December 9, 1945, in Valdosta, Ga, to the late James T. Myers, Sr., and Minnie Lee Jackson. SFC (Ret) Myers responded to our Heavenly Father’s call home to eternal rest on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
On January 21, 1969, Ronald was united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Elizabeth Farley.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior as a member of the Church of Christ in the late 1970s. He graduated from Westside High School, Valdosta, Georgia in 1963. A decorated Vietnam War veteran, SFC (Ret.) Myers first enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 and served our national defense dutifully for over twenty-one years before retiring at Ft. Moore (Benning) in 1987.
Other than his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his brothers: James T., Jr., Artis, Wayne, Fernando, and Alfred Myers (half sibling); his sister, Laura M. Turner; and his step son, Lonnie Callier, Jr.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Myers; his daughter, Carmita Myers; daughters, Shenida Faye (Callier) Dudley, Rosalyn (Callier) Williams, Sandra Delores (Callier) Brown; seven siblings: Betty Myers Vann, William Paul (Willie Mae) Myers, Jeniece Myers, Steve A. (Belinda) Myers, Sr., Victor (Darlene) Myers, Margret Graham and Gwen Jenkins (half siblings); sister-in-law: Mary Myers; wonderful family of bonus granddaughters and grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a loving devoted church family.
The Homegoing Celebration for SFC (Ret) Myers will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Cusseta Road Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Visitation will be Thursday 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Progressive.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Words can not express the pain you and your family is going through. God promised us that we death will be done away with in gods due time. Revelation 21:3,4 tell us that no more pain or out cry because the former things have passed away
