Mr. Newman Crawford passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the age of 89 at Orchard View Rehabilitation in Columbus, Georgia. He was born on January 13, 1934, in Plains, Georgia to the late Reverand Solomon Winchester and Henri Mae Crawford.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Crawford will be on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Lewis Memorial Baptist Church at 12:00 noon. He will be laid to rest Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Thursday beginning at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Progressive Funeral Home.
