I am very saddened to hear of Daron's passing. I was his bank manager and we share the same birthday. We enjoyed telling each other happy birthday each year; always a cheery soul who loved his family. I couldn't understand why I didn't hear a response from him the past couple of years, knowing how much we looked forward to wishing each other a great day. I tried calling Thanksgiving only to see the number is disconnected so I searched Google and found he is no longer with us. I will continue to think of him each year on our special day. It's painful to lose a loved one and I pray his family find peace and strength in the loving memories shared. Our faith teaches us you will see him again. God bless you all. Vivian
Wow! Just learned about the loss of my guy today. Attended SU with Scooter and was one of my alltime favorites. Never seen a guy that had so much fun, and I NEVER saw him drink anything. One of the highest jumpers I have ever seen. Throw it near the rim and Scooter would go get it. A pair of Levi jeans and a pair of tennis shoes is what he was most comfortable in. His room was directly across the hall from me, and we probably split our time between the two rooms, talking, laughing with what seemed like the whole dorm cramped into one room. I also recall the special relationship he had with his mom. Talked about her a lot, and when she came to visit,he was on cloud nine. Great spirit, Momma Jackson and there entire Jones-Jackson family, sometimes we just don't understand. Pray that your pain is eased as the days passes. Hold onto the fun memories, such as those where Scooter would randomly get up and dance for no reason. Rest up Scooter!
It's with sincere love that I send these words of encouragement and condolences to Mrs. Jackson, Mr. Keith Jackson and the Jackson family. Lord I pray for this family for they are weary and tired from this battle. Their feet are stumbling and they may not know how much longer they can carry on. Give them all strength. Renew their hope. Fill their soul with your rest. Restore and revive this family so they can continue on and run this race with perseverance. For you promise that those who place their trust in you will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. For they are not alone. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Rest in heaven my brother Scooter you are already missed.
