Ms. Sandra McCullough Heard, age 67, of Lanett, AL gained her wings into eternal rest on Monday, June 21, 2021 at her residence.

Sandra Lavern McCullough Heard was born September 24, 1953 to the late Nellie Philpot and Fred McCullough in Chamber County, AL.

Sandra received her formal education in the West Point City School System, where she was a member of the 1971 graduating class of Harrison High School.

She accepted Christ as her personal savior and united with the Bethlehem Baptist Church of West Point, GA, where she served as an usher.

She was employed with Fairfax Mill for thirty-plus years and Interface Flooring for ten years, where she served dutifully before her retirement.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She looked forward to being with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Heard; her loving sisters, Jennifer and Ocie McCullough and her granddaughter, Essence Todd.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her loving sons, Earl (Tiffany) McCullough, Corey (Latasha) McCullough, Marrio McCullough and Morris Neblett of West Point, GA ; three loving nieces, Stacey (Paul) McCullough, Latoyal McCullough of West Point, GA and Portia Summers of LaGrange, GA; four nephews, Tayvon McCullough, Michael Howell, TC Andrews and London Gibson of West Point, GA; her loving grandchildren: Zaquan Hargett, Serenity McCullough, Savannah McCullough, Shuntaysha Brooks, Nybreshiona McCullough, Chance McCullough and Dylan Grimes; her very special friends, Twyla Heard, William (Bubba) Cumberlander, Eric and Lisa Harrington, Barbara Jean McFarland, Geraldine Jones and Rodney Compton a hosts of other cousins, family and friends.

Homegoing Service for Ms. Heard will be held at 2:00 p.m., ET, Saturday, June 26, 2021 in the Marseilles Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Trammell serving as the Eulogist.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
