Mrs. Rosie L. Frazier Ransom, 61, of Lanett, AL, transitioned on March 12, 2025 at UAB Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.
Mrs. Rosie L Frazier Ransom was born on May 13, 1963, in LaFayette, AL. She had seven siblings from the union of Betty J. Frazier and the late James Frazier.
After coming to faith at a young age, Rosie experienced a powerful renewal and rededicated her life to Christ, embracing His love with a renewed heart and spirit. She was a member of Open Heaven in Valley AL.
She attended LaFayette High School in LaFayette, AL. After high school she immediately went into the nursing field as a CNA where she proudly served and took care of others for over 20 years.
Rosie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. To know her was to experience true love. She never met a stranger. She had a rare and beautiful gift—the ability to make anyone feel like family. Her doors were always open to those in need, whether it was offering a meal, a place to rest, or simply a listening ear. Rosie saw the good in everyone and gave without expecting anything in return. Her compassion and selflessness left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She loved to spend time with family, dancing, and telling jokes. She always made people laugh. Rosie was one of a kind and well known for her happy, vibrant, infectious spirit. Her strength to overcome obstacles she faced would inspire anyone to stay strong. Despite her health issues she never complained. In her very own words “I’m a soldier”. The world is a little dimmer without her presence, but her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched
On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, heaven gained another angel.
