My father in law left an impact on my life that stands today and I'll carry him with me until we meet again. Fromeing straight up, direct, and talking frankly to my children to re-niggin in spades like a it's a sport. Jimmy helped define who I'd become as a man. Defending my family, telling wild ass stories, singing karaoke, relaxing after a hard day with a beer, "my lady", and talking "mess" while intimidating anyone who dares to sit down and play some spades.
I cherished the relationship he shared with Eula. I didn't understand it at first seeing both of their strong wills hold their ground till one caved but I came to love it because I came to love their love for one another. I truly know his pain has ended and we can all only hope our pain on this earth can be eased by the love of our children as his was. Eula carries his love and is a testament to everything he is.
May you forever be at peace and may we forever carry your legacy Jimmy. You are missed on this mortal plane but we know your love is forever with us. God bless you "Pops" I love you old man. -Glenn
