Felicia Nicole Marshall was born on July 4, 1978 in Lanett, AL to Elijah Marshall and Marian Woody Marshall. On Thursday August 27, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, Felicia gained her wings into eternal rest at West Georgia Hospice, LaGrange, GA.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She received her formal education in the Lanett City School System where she was a member of the 1996 graduating class of Lanett High School, Lanett, AL. After high school Felicia furthered her education by attending Tuskegee University and Auburn University. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Troy State University. Felicia was currently employed with the Lee County School System as an exceptional education teacher. At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Mount Hermon Baptist Church of Lanett, AL. She was a member of the illustrious Theta Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Felicia was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Booker T. and Mary Lee Woody and her paternal grandmother, Catherine Woody.
Felicia leaves to cherish her many memories, her loving daughter, Alexis Carlecia-Monet Hodge, Valley, AL; a caring fiancé, Raymundo Godfrey of West Point, GA; her mother, Marian Marshall of Lanett, AL; her father, Elijah(Gloria) Marshall of West Point, GA; a faithful sister, Tammy Glenn of LaGrange, GA, Jemeka (Marshon) Harper of West Point, GA; beautiful nieces, Ericka (Derrell) Glenn of Valley AL; Teanna Glenn, Kennesaw, GA, McKenzie Harper of West Point, GA; one nephew, Jameson Harper of West Point, GA; one great niece, Leah Ivory; one furry nephew, Spot and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. She also leaves three friends/sisters-in- love, Errika Thomas, Nicole Oliver and Deshannon Walton.
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in the Pinehill Cemetery, Lanett, AL with Bishop Donald Lancaster serving as the Eulogist, Rev. Lamar Johnson, Officiating; Rev. Warren Goss, Rev. Charles Trammell and Dr. Bertha Hodge, Assisting.
Public viewing will be held in Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 2:00 p.m, until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
M. W. Lee Mortuary of West Point is entrusted with arrangements.

I was so excited when I saw you last summer because I hadn't seen you in such a long time. All of your cousins decided to get together in Lanett and up popped Rodney Woody. I was excited to see him also. Through Rodney, I learned that you all had a wonderful time. That made me soooo happy. You will be missed, but I have to say it one more time....Roll Tide!!!
