Bobbie Jean “Sistergal” Wallace was born on October 30,1943 in West Point, Troup County, Georgia, to the parent of Little Jake Johnson Smith. She departed this life on December 27, 2024, peacefully, at her residence.
Bobbie accepted Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age. As she grew in her relationship with the Lord and the Body of Christ; she served varies churches in the area. She enjoyed the service of teaching Sunday School.
Bobbie was united in the Holy Bonds of Matrimony with Willie, “Fairball”, Wallace on December 31, 1959. From this union five children were born. She took great pride and joy in being a wife and mother. She was a licensed beautician. She enjoyed baking and cooking, which she later turned into a business, Mrs. Sistergal Sweet But Sour Shop.
She was preceded in death by her mother; two sons, Willie Jr., and Kim Wallace; one sister; two brothers and the late Willie “Fairball” Wallace.
Bobbie leaves to cherish her beloved daughter, Rita Wallace; beloved son, Jeffery Wallace and beloved daughter, Sherry Wallace (Ellis) Copeland all from West Point, Georgia; two sisters, Annie Jean Wallace of Chicago, Illinois, Prophetess Mary Johnson of LaGrange, Georgia and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren that she loved dearly.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bobbie J. “Sistergal” Wallace will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1111 East 10th Street, West Point, GA with Overseer Gary L. Fanning, Eulogist.
Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery, Austin Street, West Point, GA.
Public viewing will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
