RIP Mr. C.C., we have lost a really good man in LaFayette. Will always remember Mr. C.C. working in that telephone thing across the street from the post office. Think that little short street should be named C.C. Hamby Blv'd in his honor.
Mr Hamby was a very good friend of our family since my childhood. He was one of the most hard-working, generous, caring, friendly and humble men I've ever known! Lafayette has lost one of its' great citizens and he will be sorely missed.
So sorry to hear of Mr. Hamby's passing He was a sweet and caring man. I will always remember how good he was to my brother, David. Always remember his special deed he did for David when he passed away. Rest in peace Mr. Hamby.
I had the great pleasure and honor to know Uncle Bootsy for the past several years. He will be sorely missed at our family gatherings. He was loved so very much.
Mr. Hamby was a sweet, caring and lovely man. He was a delightful person to be around. He always had a smile on his face. God Rest his sweet soul.
