Mrs. Christine B. Vaughn, a resident of Valley, AL, died Monday, October 9, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) from Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1512 River Road, Valley, AL with Pastor Robert L. Carter as Officiant/Eulogist.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Valley, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.
Public Viewing is scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.
Her survivors include: her devoted husband, James Monroe Vaughn, Valley, AL; her daughters, Lucretia (Lamar) Clark and Sylvia (Willie) Calloway both of Valley, AL; grandchildren, Niko (Marlon) Bridges, Lanett, AL, Mianda Johnson, Phenix City, AL and Christopher Barnes, Jr., Valley, AL; great-grandchildren, Kevante (Carizma) Ross of Germany, Makayla Johnson and Rosland Johnson both of Athens, AL, Taniya Ross and Derrionte Ross both of Valley, AL, Neo'lanni Barnes and Tanashia Bridges both of Lanett, AL; one sister, Nellie (Willie, Sr.) Barber, West Point, GA; two special friends, Johnnie P. Walker and Doris Harris both of Valley, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
