Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mr. Lonnie L. Smith of Union Springs, Alabama.
Mr. Smith, age 71, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his residence.
Known and loved as Catman, Mr. Smith loved the outdoors and was at peace and harmony with everything nature offered. He will always be remembered for his passion of hunting, fishing, and especially his horses.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, March 31, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm from the First Missionary Baptist Church, of Union Springs, AL. Service will be live-streamed (see clickable link below)
In accordance with recommended COVID-19 Protocols, all attendees are requested to utilize appropriate facial coverings, maintain social distancing, and minimize physical contact.
