Carter Funeral Home respectfully announces the transition of Ms. Shaquella Shanto. "Big Red" Pipkins on April 6, 2016. Born January 2,1980, Shaquella was currently residing in Columbus,GA.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

Ms. Pipkins will lie in repose at Mt. Azure Baptist Church one hour prior to celebration of life services.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, April 16, 2016 from the sanctuary of Mt. Azure Baptist Church, Three Notch Community,Rev. Bruce Burks, Pastor. Words of comfort will be delivered by Rev. Charlie Parham, Pastor of the Mt. Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Midway.

Interment will follow immediately afterwards in the Mt. Azure Baptist Church Cemetery.

Shaquella Shanta Pipkins was born on January 2, 1980 to a loving and devoted mother, Sandra Pipkins and Marvin Nobles in Barbour County, AL. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Azure Baptist Church by Reverend Jerry Bennett.

She attended Merritt Elementary School and graduated from Carver High School in 1999. Shaquella furthered her education at Gwinnett College, Atlanta, GA and became a dedicated worker in the health services industry. She was most recently employed at West Central, Columbus, GA and Provant Health Solutions, East Greenwich, RI.

Shaquella went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA. Her grandparents, Richard Nobles, Sr. And Nettie Pearl Nobles of Midway, AL, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: mother, Sandra F. Pipkins (Marvin Killings), Columbus, GA; father, Marvin Nobles (Sheryl), Birmingham, AL; children, Sha’Kendra Pipkins, Nya Pipkins, Jaylen Pipkins, Zachary Pipkins, all of Columbus, GA and their father, Kent Foster, Atlanta, GA; sisters, Wykeshia Pipkins (Lee Otis), Midway, AL and Marcelia Nobles at UAH, Huntsville, AL; brothers, Christopher Pipkins, Brandyn Pipkins (who she lovingly referred to as her “baby”), both of Columbus, GA, Sir Sedrick Kendrick (Chandra), Camp Casey, Korea, Marvin Nobles II (Krystal), Ft. Riley, KS and Marcus Nobles (Jessica), Mobile, AL; God-father, Walter Youngblood, Union Springs, AL; grandparents, Sanford Pipkins, Annie Pipkins, both of Columbus, GA and Gladys Lampley, Midway, AL; companion, Freddie Matthews, Lato, AL; special cousins, Timica Sellers and Surethia Lampley; special friends, Linda Carter, Rachel Wright and Melissa Tate; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
