The Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Deaconess Lessie B. Eford of Louisville, Alabama.

Deaconess Eford transitioned into eternity Wednesday January 29, 2025, at the age of 88.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, February 7, 2025, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church 181 Co. Rd. 27, Clayton Alabama

Interment will follow in the Mt. Hillard Baptist Church Cemetery 435 Co Rd 53 Banks, Alabama
