We regretfully announce the passing of Mr. Derikous T. Smith age 42 of LaGrange, Georgia on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice.

Derikous T. Smith was born June 22, 1982 in LaGrange, GA to the late
Holsey Bray and Patricia Smith.

He was known by "Rico" to everyone. Rico graduated from Greenville
High School in 2001. He was a member of Christ Family Divine
Ministries. Rico loved cars, sports, playing cards, and spending time
with his family. Rico started dating Michelle in 2001. On October 30,
2009 they got married. They didn’t have any kids but they shared a
host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He leaves a brother, Andre Smith, two sisters Akria Bray (Pelow)
Jermonique Burden (Dee); Two sisters-in-law, Jenis Harris and Pearl
Lonys (BoBo); He has two great aunts with a host of aunts, uncles,
cousins and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Christ Family Divine Ministries located at 759 Todd Road in Greenville, Georgia.

Apostle Angela Prather, Eulogist and Bishop Rodney Prather, Officiant.
