Mr. William Anthony “ Man” Johnson, 68, of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of West Point, GA, gained his wings into eternal rest on December 30, 2024.

Mr. William Anthony “Man” Johnson was born on July 5th, 1956, in West Point, GA to Allee Blye Johnson and the late William Johnson. He was the youngest of two children.

At an early age, he moved to Bronx, NY with his family. In his early adult years, he relocated to Lanett, AL and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Man was employed at West Point Pepperell Mill Store and enjoyed playing on their recreational basketball team. Man later moved to LaGrange, GA, where he was employed with Milliken. He enjoyed many sports. His favorite teams were the New York Giants and New York Yankees. He was a social butterfly and definitely the life of the party. He was everyone’s favorite cousin and uncle. After several years, he relocated back to New York where he resided until his death.

William was preceded in death by his father, William Johnson, and grandparents, Seab and Ellen (Winston) Johnson, and Evirt Walker.

He leaves to cherish is memory: his mother, Allee Johnson of West Point, GA; one Sister Angela (Alex) Berrian of Brooklyn, NY; three Daughters, LaTosha Robinson of Bronx, NY, Shakale (Keith) Booker Madison, AL and Brittany Johnson of LaGrange, GA; four grandchildren, Latrellya “Chaddy” Miller of Bronx, NY, Lacquez Nasir William Robinson of Bronx, NY, Autumn Johnson of Valley, AL; and Ja’mori Booker of Madison, AL; one uncle, Aruthur Charles(Helen) Walker of Lanett, AL; one aunt,Sharon Brooks of Lanett, AL; one special nephew, Marlon Berrian Sr. of Pennsylvania; two special nieces, Tunisha Berrian and Courtney Berrian both Brooklyn, NY; and a host of relatives and friends that he loved.

Funeral Services for Mr. William Anthony “Man” Johnson will be held at 2:00 p.m. ET on Monday, 13, 2025 at the Church of Christ, 1009 N. Lanier Avenue, Lanett, Alabama with Bro. Calvin Willis, Eulogist.

Public viewing will be on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. ET until 6:00 p.m ET at the M. W. Lee Mortuary.
