Maurice Sinclair Thomas (Resee) was born August 1, 1985, in Columbus, Georgia to his Loving Devoted Mother, Delphine Thomas, of Jacksonville, Florida (Originally from Columbus, GA), and His Father, Retired Veteran Platoon Sergeant Larry Wilson of the United States Army of Fayetteville, North Carolina, (Originally from Memphis Tennessee). Maurice spent 21 years in the State of Jacksonville, Florida, and he made his heavenly departure on September 21, 2024, from the city of Hempstead, New York.
Maurice leaves to mourn, and cherish his memories his Loving Mother, Delphine Thomas, of Jacksonville, Florida; His loving Sister Natasha Nicole Thomas (Originally from Columbus, GA), and Partner (Michael Hayes) both of Jacksonville, Florida; One Loving Brother Michael Angelo Foster Jr. of Columbus, GA (Originally from Fort Benning, GA). Three Lovely Daughters and One Loving Son; Jakariyah Stoudamire from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Shamaria Revels from Thomasville, GA, Nichelle Danielle Simms from Jacksonville, Florida, and A son Tyrion Thomas from Jacksonville, Florida. He was also the proud Uncle of His Three Loving devoted Nieces Jasmine T. Crowell, and Her Partner (Kalup Alexander) both of Phenix City, Alabama (Originally from Columbus, GA); Jayla D. Hill of Jacksonville Florida, (Originally from Columbus, GA); and Janylah N. Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida (Originally from Columbus, GA). Two loving Nephews Jaylan B. Wynn of Jacksonville, Florida (Originally from Columbus, GA), and Jaiden Micah Todd Hayes from Jacksonville, Florida. He was also the Proud Nephew of One Uncle Bishop Tony Thomas; Wife Auntie Apostle Beverly Thomas from Columbus, GA. A loving dedicated God Nephew, Daniel Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida (Originally from Charleston, South Carolina), and a host of relatives and lifelong friends).
The Homegoing Celebration for Maurice "Resee" Thomas will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Progressive.
Visitation Friday from 2 to 5:00 PM.
