Obituary For Allen Jones

Mr, Allen Jones 77 of LaFayette, Alabama died Friday, August 16, 2024 at his residence.

Allen was born in LaFayette on September 4, 1946, to the late Carlton Jones and the late Ola
Henderson Jones, he was a member of the First Baptist Church, retired from Tallapoosa
River Electric Co-operative after 38 years of service, he was a 49 year member of the LaFayette
Solomon Lodge #74 F&AM, had a dual membership with the Lanett Masonic Lodge, he also was a member of the Alcazar Shriner's, the Zamora Shriners, the Birmingham & Phenix City York Rite Bodies, member of the American Legion, Montgomery Valley Scottish Rite, served in the US Army, and a former board member of the Alabama Farmers Federation.

Funeral services will be held Sunday August 18, 2024 at 3PM at the First Baptist Church in LaFayette with the Rev, Scott Ferguson and the Rev, Randy Kuhn officiating with burial to follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery with masonic rites.

He is survived by his wife Harriet Jones On LaFayette, Al. son David (Christi) Jones of Hoover, Al. granddaughter Sarah Grace 3 nephews and 4 great nephews.

Mr Allen , we love you so much. I remember being a little girl and coming over to see you and Mrs Harriet. Yall loved my mom , Princess and I was always your little Lucky. May God bless your family at this difficult time. ♥️ what a great man and such great memories !! Enjoy your heavenly ribs lol. He always loved my dads BBQ Ribs.
