Amanda Kay Ruch

Heaven received a beautiful angel on June 5, 2024. Amanda Kay Ruch was born on July 7, 1988, in Houston Texas.

Amanda was a very strong and courageous lady; she joined the Army at an early age of 18. Amanda served in Korea.

On May 1, 2008, God had a different plan for her after she was in a car accident which left her wheelchair bound for the rest of her life. Against all odds Amanda was blessed to have a beautiful baby girl in 2011. Her only daughter Natalie Brooke Ruch. Natalie became the sunshine of her world.

Amanda fought a long hard battle with everyday obstacles but never gave up on her worst days. She was a true inspiration to everyone she came in contact with.

In 2019 Amanda graduated with honors with an associate degree in Business Administration from Purdue University. Amanda and her family enjoyed singing karaoke, playing board games and making all kinds of different crafts together. She will truly be missed by anyone that knew her.

Surviving is her daughter Natalie Ruch, Mother Peggye Brown and Father Alan McDonald of Elberton, Ga, Her sister Kathleen Parker of Hatfield Arkansas, her half-brother Richard Ruch of Arkansas, Mary Lane (Dan) of Arkansas, Joyce Elpers (Jake) of Texas. She leaves behind nieces,
nephews, cousins and several special friends.


A celebration of Amanda's life will be held on July 6, 2024, at her home, 2234 Hartwell Highway Elberton, Ga,
