Mr. Jeffery Jackson was born March 7, 1966 to the late Theodore and Cora Mae Jackson in Langdale, Alabama. He gained his wings to eternal rest on October 25, 2023 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.
“Jeff”, as he was known by many, received his education in the Troup County School System, LaGrange, GA. He was a member of the 1984 graduating class of Troup High School.
Jeffery was employed in the grounds department as a landscaper by West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, Georgia. He was a cheerful but laid back loving person. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronnie and Theodore Jr. James and sister, Shelia (Melvin) Barnes.
Jeffery's memories will forever be cherished by: his sister, Sharon (Reginald) Blessett of West Point, Georgia; brothers, Gregory ( the late, Cherry) Jackson of West Point, Georgia and Kenneth (Barnice)

Jeff loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, Sophia Jackson, Valinda Norman, Tiffany Carr, Earnest Jackson, Sherdarious Barnes, Melvin Jr, Tynisha Jackson and a host of other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; he cherishes his good friends, Bobby Harris, Steve Davidson, and Morris Gilliam.
Graveside Services for Mr. Jackson will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. ET in the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1516 44th Avenue, SW, Lanett, Alabama with Bishop G.Winston serving as the Eulogist.
Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

My condolences to family and friends. I have been J.J. What I call him care giver at Davita for over a year and he was the better to work for. He always keep a joke and stayed positive. We will miss you J.J. Rest easy !
