Obituary For Ida Mae Fletcher Zimmerman

Ms. Ida Mae Fletcher Zimmerman passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the age of 81. She was born on August 10, 1942 to the late Isaac Fletcher and Ruth Freeman in Virginia.

The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Zimmerman will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at M.L. Harris United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Friday beginning at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Progressive.

Interment will be held at a later date at Main Post Cemetery at Fort Moore.

Progressive Funeral Home staff is privileged to serve the family.

Mrs. Ida was the most beautiful, amazing sassy lady that I ever met. She was a beautiful friend to my mom. They loved each other very much. My prayers , hugs go out to the family. Sorry for your beautiful loss 🕊️💜 May God continue covering you all💜
