Ms. Louise Jackson Crowell was born on January 26, 1930 to the late Ruben and Mary Davis Jackson in Alabama. She departed this life at her home on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the age of 93.

Ms. Crowell confessed to Christ at an early age and served faithfully. She was a graduate of Russell County Training School. She was united in marriage to Benjamin J. Crowell, Sr., from that union two children were born, Benjamin J. Crowell, Jr. and Belinda Foster. She was the owner and operator of Louise Beauty Salon for over 50 years until her health started to decline. She was currently a member of Brookstone Full Gospel Baptist Church. She was a long-time member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Gospel Choir. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Crowell, Sr.; her son, Benjamin Crowell, Jr.; two brothers, Mason and Ruben Jackson; two sisters, Izola Thomas and Rosa Clark.

Cherishing her memories are, a daughter, Belinda Foster (James) ; five grandchildren, Dilisha Adams (Tyrone), Jessie Shakespeare (Christian), Shervonda Crowell, Natasha Shakespeare and Jelisa Shakespeare; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Alvera Lowe (Eddie) and Annie Hayes; two brothers, Abraham Jackson and Henry Jackson; devoted God-daughter, Dorothy Crowell; a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Louise Jackson Crowell will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with interment at Green Acres Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 27, 2023 beginning at 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Progressive.
