My dearest Marc, I can't believe you are gone from this world. From the first day we met, we had a connection. Working with you was always a pleasure. I looked forward to our shifts together. I remember playing those old school jams on the weekends and singing with you at the nurse's station. The last time I saw you I told you that every time I hear "You Are Everything" by the Stylistics that I will always think of you. It will be our song. Then you started singing the chorus to me. I didn't know that would be the last time I would hear your sweet voice. I think the lyrics are appropriate: "How can I forget when each face that I see brings back memories of being with you. How can I go on living life as I do comparing each one to you knowing it just won't do? They're not you." Forever your friend, LaBriska Mayes

To the ones you left behind: I know you will ALL WAYS remember & miss Marcus. He may be beyond our physical contact, but his kindred spirit will forever remain with us. I shall never forget him. He was so talented as a baker. It saddens me to know that I have to come to grips with his passing.
