Carter Funeral Home announces with humility the transition of Mr. Luther James Boykin,75, of Miami, Florida.

Born, May 25, 1942 in Barbour County. Alabama, Mr. Boykin transitioned into eternity, August 14, 2017.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at the New Birth Baptist Church of Miami Florida on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017.

Interment is scheduled for Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm from the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery of Louisville. Alabama.

The Rev Joe Grey pastor of the Shady Grove Baptist Church will perform the committal services.
