Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the transition of Mrs. Mozell Allen Pugh of Union Springs, Alabama.

Mrs. Pugh passed away peacefully on June 9, 2020.

Celebration of Life Services and Interment will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11:00 am from the Union Springs Perpetual Care Cemetery.

The message of triumph will be delivered by Pastor James N.Robbins, Sr.of the Mt. Zion and Mt Coney Missionary Baptist Churches

Public visitation will be held Friday, June 19,2020 from 2:00 until 5:00 .at Carter Funeral Home.

All visitation and services will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols.

Mozell Pugh was born to the late Rubin and Minnie Allen in Union Springs, Alabama on October 10, 1929.

Mozell confessed Christ at an early age. She was a faithful and devoted member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Union Springs, Alabama until her health began to decline. She united in Holy Matrimony to Reverend Louis E. Pugh. On June 9, 2020, God called home our beloved matriarch Mozell Pugh (a wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend).

Cherished and loving memories will live in the hearts of her husband, Reverend Louis E. Pugh; one son, Corey Caldwell, Union Springs, Alabama; devoted nephew; Joe (April) Tarver, Atlanta, Georgia; bonus children: Sertha Farrey, Akron, Ohio,, Deacon Louis E,. Pugh, Jr., Columbus, Ohio, Angela Farrey, Akron, Ohio, Timothy Pugh, Chicago, Illinois and Terrance Pugh, Chicago, Illinois; devoted sisters, Eva Cox, Union Springs, Alabama; Minnie Hicks, Savannah, Georgia; Jessie Tarver, Gary, Indiana and Lillie (Edward) Riggs, Los Angeles, California; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; including, special friends: Minister Lela Robbins Pugh, Donna and Nancy May, Pastor and Mrs Hawthorne Reed, Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart, Sis. Martha Jones, and Mrs Idine Jones.
